Danger of a more sinister nature threatens when the creatures-that-walk-on-two-legs settle in the valley and their leader, Ishmael, discovers the healing power of the unicorns’ horns. Azaria, now a young stallion, must use his wits to save the herd from complete extinction.
So I’m not sure if I’ve read a story before where the main character isn’t a human, but it was a nice change. Unicorns and dinosaurs are an interesting mix, and Suzanne pulls it off well with this brilliant fantasy read.
It was a little hard to get into this book, but once I did I enjoyed it. It is a fast paced novel after the beginning and it was very descriptive, which I loved! There is a great message in this book, I won’t spoil it…you’re gonna have to read it to get the message!
